IMPACTS THE LIVES OF
JOIN CALLED TO CARE
Called to Care was formed in 2014 by a handful of individuals who simply had a heart for orphan care. Without any doubt, the Lord has blessed the efforts of Called to Care and the ministry has exploded into something those individuals never imagined.
For close to two years, our efforts have been focused on ministering to the foster care community by providing safe events for teens, educating the community about needs, providing tangible needs, and providing support to foster and biological families. We have provided education and resources to families who are adopting. We have sent several teams to China and Uganda to minister to orphans and have supported several other international mission trips.
Called to Care is currently providing support and tangible needs to the foster and adoptive community. We are hosting events for teens in foster care and we are also educating the community on foster care and adoption.
In the future, we plan to continue caring for, supporting, and educating the foster and adoptive communities as listed above. The organization would like to start a formal mentoring program for teens and begin a support model for families who are fostering in our local community.
Called to Care has also decided to start giving grants to families in the adoption process and we would like to send more teams international to minister to orphans. For more information about our grants, click here.
